PROCJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project which has won the competition for the best classical project Young New Talents” 2009 in Belgium involves a combination of concert for piano and a visual interpretation of music.
The animations are original, mixed digitally and projected onto the stage by means of a multimedia projector.
Katarzyna Borek - pianist and Maja Kuta, animation and visual artist, have been friends for many years. The idea of combining the music of Chopin with visual arts was conceived a few years ago and is an effect of the will to match sound with sight and an attempt to introduce elements of dialogue to music illustration. The artists have planned to create such a project for many years. This visual spectacle is a delight for young and old to enjoy the beauty of Chopin`s music.

- Festival of Polish Culture in Luxemburg (2010)
- the Polish Radio Gdansk (2010)
- Danuta Baduszkowa Musical Theatre in Gdynia/Poland (2010)
- several concerts for the organisation "Musica and Poetica" in Belgium
